My name is Susie Loomis
I have worked as a rural mail carrier for 17 years. Before starting my spiritual journey early in 2020, I was incredibly burned out and unhappy. It was then that I got my first Tarot reading and a quick Reiki massage. I had no idea then how much it would change my life. I received my Usui Reiki Master certification from Melissa Zaineb in 2022 and have been blown away by the profound differences in my outlook and daily mindset.

I have since trained with LMRT Terry Dulin for both Usui/Holy Fire® III levels I/II and Animal Reiki levels I/II and International Center for Reiki Training President William Lee Rand for the Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master level. All three of my teachers have taught me a technique or story I found fascinating I'll always remember them for when passing the knowledge on and keeping the Reiki tradition alive.
Reiki healing is something I feel so drawn to share with the world and sincerely feel anyone can benefit from. While I work on being able to create a space for in-person sessions here in Fenton, Michigan, long distance Reiki is what I do best. If you are still interested in an in-person session, I am working with Highest Healing Bodyworks in Plymouth to provide that for you on Sundays!

What is Reiki?
Reiki, pronounced RAY-key, is spiritually guided life force energy. It is a system of energy healing originating in Japan wherein the practitioner channels universal life force energy through their body, out their hands and to the recipient. Reiki is a powerful, yet gentle healing modality. The energy flows naturally to where it is most needed. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress, helps move stuck emotions, and may help reduce physical aches and pain.
While most Reiki sessions are done in person with the practitioner placing their hands on the recipient, or just off the body if it is the client's preference, it is just as powerful when done across long distances.
What does Reiki feel like?
It varies person to person, session to session.
Many report feeling deeply relaxed. Some feel warmth or tingling sensations, see colors, have an emotional release, fall asleep, or sometimes---feel nothing (as has been the case for many of my own personal sessions before my attunements). The Reiki energy is still flowing even if the recipient notices nothing out of the ordinary.
My Approach
As I am only taking in-person clients on Sundays in Plymouth, I primarily do long distance sessions. For this, I use plush doll as a stand in, going through all the hand positions, then focusing the energy where it feels most needed to achieve balance. You may also request healing for specific ailments or areas of the body/chakras for me to focus on during the session in addition to the full treatment.​
How It Works
During a long-distance session, it's best, though not fully required, to find a quiet place to lay down where you won't be disturbed. This will help you get the full benefit of the Reiki energy. The only things you should not do while receiving Reiki, for your own safety and the safety of others, is drive or operate heavy machinery.
